Brianna Kimmel is a dancer and a journalist whose ultimate goal is to tell stories. As a queer artist hailing from a small, conservative upstate New York town, Kimmel particularly values the opportunity to use her work to uplift queer voices and share queer narratives. She works in various mediums, from written word, to photography and videography, as well as movement. Using her range of multimedia skills, Kimmel aims to create exploratory works that study human connection – which lies as a motivating value of much of her work. 

Kimmel has just begun her journey of exploring the intimate intersections between performance, writing, and her own personal lived experiences. Kimmel’s performances aim to study the connections between the performer and the audience. Kimmel looks forward to continuing to push the boundaries of connection in her future works.
